Amy enjoys working one-on-one with clients. She firmly believes that being a sole practitioner guarantees that clients receive consistent, personal service and attention, assuring that their unique estate planning needs will be fully examined and met. Amy has been a practicing mediator, where she has helped families and businesses resolve disputes to avoid costly and adversarial litigation. She brings her family mediation background to the table to help families navigate and negotiate the personal decisions, economic realities and legal options that go into creating a successful estate plan. Amy is active in the community, including have served on an advisory committee for Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. She was a member of National Charity League for six years, including serving on its board. She was an active volunteer in the Eureka Union School District. Her husband is a retired Kaiser physician, her son is a clinical research coordinator, and her daughter and son-in-law are practicing attorneys in Washington D.C. |
Nicole Sherriff: Paralegal Assisting With Estate Planning and Securing Your Future!
Nicole also helps clients navigate Medicare and Social Security, among other critical elements to securing our clients’ future. Nicole has worked in the personal finance and insurance industries for over six years. She holds a California insurance license (license number O176084) and is a California licensed notary. She is a graduate of the Paralegal Institute and completed several trust accounting courses to support or execute probate and trust accountings for clients. Born and raised on Lake Erie in Ohio, Nicole graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Interior Design. She is happily married and the mother of a daughter who graduated from UC Davis and works in animal science and a son who graduated from Rocklin High School and works in technological security services. She’s proud and appreciates that her family includes her husband’s two sons who have successful automotive businesses. In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, camping, home renovation projects, volunteering for the Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, and spoiling her 2 rescued Weimaraners. |
