Her practice includes drafting trust and estate documents to secure clients' estates, avoid probate, avoid litigation, and planning for incapacity and long term care, including Medi-Cal and VA benefits. She also handles probates and trust administrations. Ms. Ochi a member of the State Bar of California (Trusts and Estates Section), the State Bar of Arizona, and has been a board member of the South Placer Estate Planning Council for 4 years. She is a member of WealthCounsel, LLC. Ms. Ochi earned her B.A. degree from Macalester College and J.D. degree from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she earned the Jurisprudence Award for the highest class grade in several subjects, including estate planning and dispute resolution.

Amy enjoys working one-on-one with clients. She firmly believes that being a sole practitioner guarantees that clients receive consistent, personal service and attention, assuring that their unique estate planning needs will be fully examined and met.

Amy has been a practicing mediator, where she has helped families and businesses resolve disputes to avoid costly and adversarial litigation. She brings her family mediation background to the table to help families navigate and negotiate the personal decisions, economic realities and legal options that go into creating a successful estate plan.

Amy is active in the community, including have served on an advisory committee for Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. She was a member of National Charity League for six years, including serving on its board. She volunteered in the public schools, including developing a music curriculum which was implemented for k-3 students. She lives in Granite Bay with her husband, a physician at Kaiser. Her daughter graduated from Tufts University in Boston and works at a law firm in New York. Her son graduated from Granite Bay High School and is attending St. Olaf in MN.

Nicole applies her years of experience working with individuals and families in the financial services and insurance industries to our client’s estate planning needs. Her experience helps facilitate working with our Client’s financial advisors to coordinate proper trust funding and beneficiary designations. We do not sell or recommend financial or insurance products or services, but work with clients and their advisors to properly title assets.

Nicole also helps clients navigate Medicare and Social Security, among other critical elements to securing our clients’ future. Nicole has worked in the personal finance and insurance industries for over six years. She holds a California insurance license (license number O176084) and is a California licensed notary. She is a graduate of the Paralegal Institute.

Born and raised on Lake Erie in Ohio, Nicole graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in Interior Design. She is happily married and the mother of a daughter who attends UC Davis and a son who attends Rocklin High School; she’s proud and appreciates that her family includes her husband’s two sons, both of which are chasing their dreams in the automotive world.

In her free time Nicole enjoys spending time with her family, home renovation projects, volunteering for the Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, and spoiling her 3 rescued Weimaraners.
